1 Upload SSM PDFs
Drop one or more SSM printouts — a basic e-Info search result page, an e-Info entity page (the product list you land on after picking a search hit), a full e-Info profile, a printed page from the free public business directory, and/or a Borang D certificate. Type is auto-detected per file; a search page is split into one entity per result row; documents for the same business are grouped and cross-checked. Original text-layer PDFs read locally; scanned or photographed PDFs are read by OCR (local Tesseract, or Claude AI vision when the key toggle below is on). A single PDF holding both a profile and its Borang D is split automatically.
Free lookup takes the old registration number and fills in the name, the new 12-digit number, the nature of business, the registration date and the state from the free public business directory — no e-Info purchase. Or just type the full registered name and the numbers yourself. Everything else is worked out for you — register, entity type, registration year, proper-case name, SOP002 counterparty, SOP003 short name and client folder, official email, aliases, secured phrases, passwords and Bukku URLs — and stays editable in step 2. If the entity is also uploaded as a profile or Borang D, the two merge on the registration number.
